Daisy
The daisy, which is used for the Inizio hydrolate, is locally grown in Vorarlberg/Austria. It is harvested by hand between end of february and the beginning of mai when it is in full bloom during a period of bright sunshine around midday. It will be always watersteam-destilled at the day of the harvest. To receive a balanced, harmonious aroma we use 80% blossoms and 20% leafs, because the green parts of the plant include as well valuable ingredients.
Daisy-hydrolat has an inconspicuous, slightly herbaceous-green scent, but is convincing in its purifying, cleansing effect. It is perfect for impure, oily skin. But not only that – normal skin as well as combination skin make also a large profit from the skin-soothing and balancing effect. In the folk (traditional) medicine daisy is also used in the case of cold, of aching joints, of weak, sickly children or to care grazes.

Pure water
The water, which is used for the production of hydrolates, is pure and untreated water from the ground water fields in the foreshore of the Rhine. The Lustenauer drinking water needs no treatment, because it is water of the very best quality. Through the process of destillation pure hydrolat is formed.
