We are currently using these materials:

nachhaltig abfüllenWhen it comes to acting as environmentally friendly as possible, it is not always easy to make the right decisions. Unfortunately, every product we consume causes waste. For hygienic reasons, we also have to follow certain packaging guidelines. We also need to use sufficient packaging material to ensure protection during shipping – there is no way around this. Because if products arrive broken, no one benefits!

 
  • Our bottles and jars are made of the following materials, depending on their intended use:
    rPET-bottles (250 ml) made of 100% recycling plastic
    Green PE-bottles made of sustainable produced sugar cane
    Glas bottles and glas beaker
     
  • Our Advertising material and our print types are printed on recycling paper.
     
  • We use the following packaging materials:
    Shipping box incl. packing tape made of paper
    Filling made of paper
    Packaging chips made of 100 % Recycling polystyrol
    Packaging bags made of embossed film made from 80% recycled plastic

It is best for the environment if you reuse packaging as much as possible. Some examples: Use boxes and packing peanuts to store decorations or send gifts. Our glass and plastic bottles can also be cleaned with hot water and dish soap and used for filling homemade cosmetics or as a quirky flower vase.

Please help and dispose of properly!

umweltbewusst handelnAll packaging should be completely emptied and disposed of as cleanly as possible. Products and packaging labels can be removed if possible and should be disposed of in the residual waste. However, this is not necessarily the case. Here is a list of the materials we use:

 

How do I dispose of what?

SHIPPING PACKAGING MATERIAL

  • Shipping box incl. packing tape PAPER BIN
  • Paper filler PAPER BIN
  • Packaging chips and Packaging bags RECYCLING BIN (YELLOW)

 

PRODUCT PACKAGING, BOTTLES & JARS

  • All our glass bottles and crucibles GLASS CONTAINER
    (also the the one made of frosted glass), as possible without closures
  • Closures (sprayhead and pipette) of the glas bottles GENERAL RUBBISH
  • rPET-bottles transparent (250 ml), as well as brown (200 ml), each incl. closures RECYCLING BIN (YELLOW)
  • Green PE-bottles white (200 ml), including the clasp GENERAL RUBBISH
    (The bottles are currently only recycled in a few regions and therefore still belong in the general waste.)
  • Product packaging boxes, e.g. beard oil, intimate oil,… GENERAL RUBBISH
    (They are made of 100% recycled paper and laminated for protection against moisture and abrasion.)

 

These notes were compiled after discussions with our suppliers. Im Bereich des Recyclings werden ständig Verbesserungen und Änderungen der Verfahren vorgenommen. Additionally, recycling guidelines may vary slightly from region to region. If you are unsure or would like more information, you should contact your regional recycling company. They will be happy to provide you with information.
